This sweet piece contains a photo I took while in NYC in 2004.  I call this one 'Nude Dancer in a Dadaesque Dreamscape'.  I feel that it really demonstrates what makes street art vital... which is that the people who originally spray painted the the door with silver and white tags didn't know the person who pasted up the cut out Nude woman and likewise he or she didn't know the taggers.  In this 'communication' and 'collaboration' both intentional and unintentional between parties who don't know each is what I think makes 'Street Art' relevant and exciting.   Like 99.9% of street art and urban wall shots this is long a thing of the past.  Momento Mori!  I have it on a Tile which the photo is mounted onto and then sealed with a clear gloss polyurethane.
All pieces are one of a kind, hand-made and unique and involve my own original photography while living in the east Village of NYC from 1997 to 2008 and in Northern California since then.  All of the mounting and construction of the final pieces are done on hand here at my studio in Nevada City CA.  Everything is sturdily backed and ready to hang once you receive it and every piece also has a unique JuxtArtStudios label on back as well
One last note in these collages each individual image is printed, layered and pasted on separately to give just that extra bit of subtle dimensionality and physicality.  Ie I'm not layering them in Photoshop and then printing the flattened image as one print.
