Unique black jacket suit top/blazer/ coat. Black satin lining. Left breast pocket & collar button hole. Inside sewn tags read the following-Made in the U.K. PURE NEW WOOL. DRY CLEAN ONLY. BY APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN. TAILORS AND KNITMAKERS. KINLOCH ANDERSON SCOTLAND. All pockets and sleeves have 3 buttons each. 12 total 5/8 in.². 2 larger buttons are 3/4 in.². 2 slits in the back. Double sewn lines sleeve end of each button. The sleeves are unusual. They are cuffed, but not in the usual manner. Lightly padded shoulders. The color is jet black. The close up pictures make them seem much lighter.
14-Back stamped, Unique, Lion-crest, square silver ”Firmin B’ham” ornate buttons. Writing on 4 outside front edges. What I am able too make out is “CLANN ANSON”. Remainder look like “Narcelle Flap pockets. Slightly tarnished with spots. Shoulders-38”, pit -pit-51”, length-27”.
